Are there some Allen head bolts on the inner side of them? How do i change the front brake pads on a p reg polo 1L?
most claipers have the two bolts, rip it off install the new pads and you have to open the gap by pushing on the pads to push the pistons back.
As per firat answer, if you look on the inside (engine side) of the caliper, you'll see two rubber plugs, one at either end of where the brake pad is.

Prise them out %26amp; you can then undo the long bolt underneath with a 7mm Allen key - You may be able to undo the front one %26amp; then 'swing' the pad carrier up to replace the pads - if not, just undo the second allen bolt.
Buy the Haynes manual for 拢20. You will be able to do the brake job properly and it will save you a fortune in future.
